What is the average conversion rate for PPC advertising used to sell business-related eBooks that are not free?

It depends strongly on the call-to-action.
If the CTA is for a free download, to watch a free video, or to get a free trial without a credit card, then I expect the conversion rate to be relatively high.
Of course, the graphics need to be on-point, the copy needs to be very appealing, and the landing page should match the keyword & ad directly.
On the other hand, a long form sales letter that leads to a $XX.XX sale will experience a lower conversion rate.
