Business communication skills in China

The interactive course takes full advantage of the wonderful location of Hong Kong, being one of the two Special Administrative Regions of China and one of the world’s leading financial and trade centres. This program is ideal for anyone who wishes to broaden their business knowledge and understanding of Hong Kong, and the fast growing Chinese market.

Over 3 intensive weeks, you will attend 36 hours of classes and seminars, where you will take an in-depth look at the business environment and culture in both Hong Kong and China. You will learn from professors and industry professionals with extensive regional knowledge. A range of site visits will also add to your learning experience and provide you with unique insight as to how business is done in this region of the world. The topics covered in the course are:

Assessment is conducted as part of the program to assess your progress against the designated learning outcomes.

As the program will conclude before Christmas, you have the opportunity to experience Christmas in Hong Kong or Macau!

The field trips are an important part of program and attendance is compulsory – you’ll have an opportunity to meet organisational representatives and ask questions about both their organisation and key issues about their work.

Cultural Activities

A range of cultural activities are included in the program, including things like day trips to key tourist sites in and around Hong Kong. The exact line up of cultural activities will be finalised around October, but will provide fantastic depth to the program.

Accommodation

Students will be accommodated in twin share rooms at the Y-Loft, a modern hostel located 45 minutes away from HKPU by MTR.

Each twin room has its own bathroom. Towels and Linen are included. There are laundry facilities available for a fee.

Wifi internet is available in all rooms as well as the common areas on the 12F of the main block. All rooms have Air Conditioning.

Microwave ovens are available on 12/F Main Block for you to reheat food or beverages. No meals included.
Located on 12/F, Iconic Bar is a unique meeting place for people to enjoy coffee, drink and light refreshments.

You will have free to access to the fitness centre (which offers basic fitness gears such as treadmill, rower, bicycle, etc.) as well to the SkyTrack, a 180m long jogging path on Youth Square top floor.
