To help you better navigate diverse workplaces and populations, the intercultural communication and diversity track improves your understanding of communication similarities and differences among diverse groups and develops practical applications for applying your communication skills in those settings. This program explores practices, trends and difficulties that arise when people from different cultural backgrounds attempt to communicate and understand one another. The intercultural communication and diversity track also examines current theory and research on communication and culture, race, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability and other diversity issues.
